Mountain wedding venues near Denver start at $400 for a city amphitheater on Flagstaff Mountain and run past $10,000 for a Saturday at a foothills ranch.
This list covers ten venues in the foothills between Lyons and Larkspur, with the mountains in view and no mountain pass to drive. Seven belong to a city, a county, a district or a public garden, and six of those publish a full rate card. Every capacity, price and rule below was checked against the venue's own published terms in October 2026.
How Much Does a Mountain Wedding Venue Near Denver Cost
For a Saturday in summer, the venue alone runs about $4,800 to $10,750 at the places that publish prices: $4,800 for a half day in the barn at Chatfield Farms, $8,000 at Boettcher Mansion, $8,250 at Evergreen Lake House and $10,750 at Spruce Mountain Ranch. A short ceremony costs far less. Boulder rents Sunrise Amphitheater for $400 for three hours, and Boettcher's gazebo is $300.
Catering, bar and rentals come on top almost everywhere. The one exception on this list prices per guest: Lionscrest Manor near Lyons starts at $91 a guest for 2027, plus a 22% administrative fee. The Greenbriar Inn north of Boulder is the winter bargain, at $2,500 for a Saturday night from December to April.
Why a View Near Denver Is Harder to Book Than It Looks
The view points one way. The mountains are west of the city, and not every "mountain view" venue faces them. Jefferson County says Boettcher Mansion's lodge "was oriented to look down on Denver and the plains beyond", while Chief Hosa Lodge advertises "sweeping views of the Continental Divide". Ask which way the ceremony faces, and at what time the sun drops behind the ridge.
The cheapest sites close for winter. Boulder's Sunrise Amphitheater is "not available Oct. 31 through April 30 every year", because the Flagstaff Summit Road closes to cars. The indoor lodges stay open, and they get cheaper.
The clock is short. Public venues sell time in blocks, and setup comes out of them. Chief Hosa has a 4-hour minimum that "must include set up, clean up and any rehearsal". Boettcher includes a 5-hour event and nothing runs past 11 p.m. At Sunrise, cars must be "exiting the parking lots by 9 p.m." from a lot with 10 regular spaces.
The Three Kinds of Mountain-View Venue Near Denver
The public rate card. Parks, county estates and a public garden: Sunrise Amphitheater, Chief Hosa Lodge, Boettcher Mansion, Evergreen Lake House, Highlands Ranch Mansion and Chatfield Farms. Prices are published by the day and the season, and you bring an approved caterer.
The private ranch. Spruce Mountain Ranch sells a long day on a big property, with a required list of caterers and bar vendors.
The package. Lionscrest Manor, The Greenbriar Inn and Red Rocks put the food in the same contract as the room: Lionscrest by the guest, the Greenbriar from its own kitchen, Red Rocks through its exclusive caterer.
Sunrise Amphitheater — Boulder, Colorado
Best forthe cheapest mountain ceremony near Denver, for 100 guests on a summer morning or evening
Sunrise Amphitheater is a stone amphitheater near the summit of Flagstaff Mountain, rented by the City of Boulder's Open Space and Mountain Parks. Its own photo captions show the Flatirons to one side and Boulder below. The fee is $300 for Boulder residents and $400 for everyone else for a three-hour block (10 a.m. to 1 p.m., 2 to 5 p.m. or 6 to 9 p.m.), plus a 6% online service charge. Households elsewhere in Boulder County count as non-residents. Maximum attendance is 100, and you can book up to two years ahead.1
The catch is everything a reception needs. There is no electricity, "live bands and amplification is restricted", and alcohol means beer and wine only with a $25 city permit and no glass. The site is open only from May 1 to October 30, and a 15-to-59-day cancellation refunds half. Treat it as a ceremony site and hold the party somewhere else.

Chief Hosa Lodge — Genesee, Colorado
Best fora Continental Divide view and a stone lodge for 100, with off-season prices that drop by almost half
Chief Hosa Lodge is a stone and log lodge in Denver's Mountain Parks, off I-70 in Genesee, and a National Historic Site. The city rents it by the hour: from May through September, $420 an hour Friday to Sunday and $160 to $260 on weekdays; from October through April, $230 an hour on weekends and $115 to $230 on weekdays. There is a 4-hour minimum and a 9-hour maximum, and a $210 nonrefundable deposit is applied to the fee. Capacity is 100.2
So a nine-hour Saturday in July is $3,780 for the room, and the same day in October is $2,070. That time has to cover setup, cleanup and the rehearsal, and the building closes at 11 p.m. Bar service needs a licensed bartender and host liquor liability insurance. Bookings open 365 days ahead.
Boettcher Mansion — Golden, Colorado
Best fora mansion at 7,550 feet that looks east over Denver, with a $300 gazebo option
Boettcher Mansion sits on Lookout Mountain and belongs to Jefferson County, which publishes its fees. The full mansion reservation (main house, carriage house and gazebo) is $8,000 on a Saturday from May to October and $6,000 from November to April. Fridays and Sundays are $6,000 and $5,000, and Thursdays $4,000 and $3,500. That buys three hours to set up, a five-hour event and an hour of cleanup, ending by midnight.3
Capacity is 150 for the ceremony, about 100 seated for dinner on 5-foot rounds. A caterer off the preferred list costs $1,000 extra, and rentals must come from the county's exclusive vendor. There is no liquor license and no cash bar. The rare kindness is the weather clause: if I-70 closes at Exit 256, "all fees will be refunded." For a ceremony only, the gazebo is $300 all year, bookable four months out.
Evergreen Lake House — Evergreen, Colorado
Best for200 guests on a mountain lake, open twelve months a year
Evergreen Lake House is run by the Evergreen Park & Recreation District on a lake in Denver's Mountain Parks system. Its 2027-28 fees for both rooms are $8,250 for an 8-hour Saturday and $9,500 for 10 hours. Fridays are $7,250 and Sundays $6,750. In the off season (January to April and November) a weekday falls to $5,000 for both rooms, and the small Octagon Room, for groups under 30, is $1,750 on an off-season weekday. Tables, chairs, a deck ceremony for up to 100, and a district staff member are included; the maximum guest count is 200.4
The fine print is about time and the public. Music and bar service end an hour before your block does, and a caterer off the preferred list adds $1,000. From May to September the lake stays open for non-motorized boating, and the district "cannot delay, stop, or limit this activity" for a wedding. The balance and a $750 damage deposit are due 180 days out.
Chatfield Farms — Littleton, Colorado
Best fora weekday foothill wedding at a public garden, from $2,800
Chatfield Farms is Denver Botanic Gardens' farm in the foothills, where "Deer Creek Canyon and the foothills serve as a natural altar". Its 2026 rate card is the most flexible on this list. The Green Farm Barn is $2,800 Tuesday to Thursday, $4,800 Friday or Saturday and $3,500 Sunday for a half day (8 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 4 p.m. to midnight). The Barn Package, which adds the Polly Steele Center, is $4,500 to $7,600, and the whole property is $10,500 to $22,500. The Open Air Chapel adds $1,000 to $1,500, with white chairs for 200.5
The barn seats 100 inside and up to 300 on the lawn with a tent; the stables seat 200. You must use one of its ten approved caterers and a preferred tent company, and no alcohol may be sold. Check the festival calendar first: in 2026 the farm was closed to weddings July 16 to 19 and October 9 to 12.
Highlands Ranch Mansion — Highlands Ranch, Colorado
Best fora whole historic estate with Front Range views, less than 20 miles from downtown
Highlands Ranch Mansion is a metro district property that "offers spectacular views of the Front Range", and its gazebo overlooks a pasture with the mountains behind. A five-hour event is $8,700 on a Saturday from May to December and $7,575 from January to April. Monday to Thursday is $4,800 in peak season and $3,475 off peak. The price includes exclusive use of the house and grounds, two dressing suites, a one-hour rehearsal and 250 chairs.6
The maximum is 250 guests. You must use an approved caterer and a professional planner or day-of coordinator, and the Mansion holds the liquor license, so no outside alcohol. Events end by 11 p.m. Friday to Sunday and 10 p.m. on weekdays, and outdoor amplified music stops at 8 p.m. Bookings open 18 months ahead.
Spruce Mountain Ranch — Larkspur, Colorado
Best fora big wedding of up to 500, with eleven hours on a 450-acre ranch and no service charge
Spruce Mountain Ranch, south of Denver near Castle Rock, sells two halves of the ranch at the same prices. A Saturday is $10,750 from May to October, $9,750 in November, December and April, and $8,750 from January to March; a Tuesday or Wednesday is $7,250 to $5,250. Every package includes 11 consecutive hours, a ceremony site, two getting-ready spaces and the furniture. A two-hour ceremony-only booking is $2,250 on a weekend.7
The Lower Ranch holds up to 200 and the Upper Ranch 100 to 500. The ranch says, "We do not have additional service fees, or per person fees", but you must choose one of its 12 caterers, buy alcohol through its liquor vendor, rent through its rental partner and finish by midnight. You also need event insurance, with host liquor coverage if alcohol is served.
The Greenbriar Inn — Boulder, Colorado
Best fora restaurant wedding in the foothills that costs half as much in winter
The Greenbriar Inn is a restaurant north of Boulder whose Cabin Lawn has, in its words, "the most spectacular views of the foothills and of Left Hand Canyon". Its 2026 event package prices the whole downstairs at $5,000 on a Saturday night from May to November and $2,500 from December to April. Fridays and Sundays are $3,000 and $1,800, and Wednesday or Thursday nights $1,700 and $1,300. A ceremony adds $500 on the Cabin Lawn (up to 300 guests) or $800 at Greenbriar Falls (up to 200), plus $5 a chair.8
The downstairs seats 100 to 200, with a 100-guest minimum on weekend nights from May to November and 90 in winter. All food and drink come from the inn, apart from a specialty cake, and a 20% service charge, 5.335% sales tax and a 4% kitchen living wage fee go on top. Evening events end by 11 p.m. Linens, tableware and an on-site coordinator are included.

Red Rocks Park — Morrison, Colorado
Best forthe most famous rock formations near Denver, with a reception venue and caterer in one
Red Rocks Park and its amphitheatre belong to the City and County of Denver, and the Visitor Center hosts weddings. Ceremonies go in the Trading Post Backyard, a garden with "spectacular mountain views of the valley and the iconic Red Rocks formations" for 100 seated or 200 standing. Receptions go in the Rock Room, for 152 seated or 250 standing.9
Red Rocks does not publish prices; each space says to contact the team. Its caterer is "the exclusive provider of all food and beverages", with a 20-person minimum for meals, and canceling within 60 days costs 25%. It is a concert venue first, so ask how a show that night affects your timing and parking.
Lionscrest Manor — Lyons, Colorado
Best forthe widest named-peak view on this list, with food and bar priced per guest
Lionscrest Manor stands on 50 acres outside Lyons, "less than one hour from downtown Denver", with 360-degree views of Longs Peak, Mount Meeker, Steamboat Mountain and Hatrock. Wedgewood Weddings runs it, and its 2027 packages are $91 a guest to build your own, $101 for Classic, $131 for Premier with an open bar, and $156 for Elite with top-shelf liquor and extended party time. How to Get the Mountains for Less
Book a Friday or a Sunday. At Boettcher a Friday saves $2,000 on a summer Saturday; at Spruce Mountain, $1,000.
Marry between November and April. A Saturday night at The Greenbriar Inn is half price from December to April, $2,000 less at Boettcher, $2,000 less at Spruce Mountain from January to March, and $1,125 less at Highlands Ranch from January to April. At Chief Hosa the weekend hourly rate drops by almost half.
How much a Friday, a Sunday or a winter date really saves
Split the ceremony from the party. A $300 gazebo or a $400 amphitheater gives you the view for the vows; the reception can then go wherever the price works.
Count the hours, not the day. Chief Hosa and Highlands Ranch sell time, and setup comes out of it. Spruce Mountain's 11 hours or Evergreen's 10-hour block may be the better buy for a long party.
Venue curfews, overtime fees and noise rules
Price the caterer before the room. Boettcher and Evergreen charge $1,000 to bring in a caterer off their list, Chatfield, Spruce Mountain and Highlands Ranch require one from their list, and the Greenbriar and Red Rocks cook for you.
When a Mountain View Near Denver Is Not the Right Call
If what you want is a high-alpine setting, with aspens, snow on the peaks behind you and guests staying in the same village, the foothills will not give you that. Look at Aspen, Vail or Telluride instead, and plan for the drive and the altitude.
