Las Vegas wedding packages start at $150 for a chapel ceremony, but the fees, tips and surcharges added at checkout decide what you really pay.
This guide covers the three ways to marry in Las Vegas and what each one costs: the chapels on Las Vegas Boulevard, the resort chapels and ballrooms on the Strip, and the desert permits at Red Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire. Prices run from $150 for a drive-thru vow to $17,500 for a ballroom package, and the line items that move the total are the officiant fee, the surcharge, the weekend premium and the per-guest charge. Every capacity, price and rule below was checked against the venue's or agency's own published terms in October 2026.
How Much Does a Las Vegas Wedding Package Cost?
A chapel ceremony costs $150 to $500 before fees, and about $250 to $400 once the officiant fee, tips and tax are added. Resort chapel packages start at $1,200 to $2,000 for a couple or a handful of guests. A wedding with a reception starts at about $5,175 for 50 to 100 guests. Add the county's $102 marriage license.
The packages are cheap because they are short. Most chapel ceremonies are built for ten guests or fewer, and the price covers the room, the music and a witness. What a couple actually pays depends on four things: who marries you, when, how many people watch, and whether anyone feeds them afterwards.
What a Las Vegas Chapel Wedding Costs Once the Fees Are Added
The chapels publish their prices. The surprises sit in the small print, and each chapel puts them in a different place.
The Little White Wedding Chapel lists its Little White Chapel, Gazebo, Pink Cadillac and drive-thru Tunnel of Love ceremonies at $150 each1. The drive-thru package includes up to 10 guests, a witness and two souvenir poker chips. Then the additions: "The minister/officiant fee of $60 will be added to the cost of your package," and "your package total will include a 19% surcharge covering tips, gratuities, filing & recording fees, permits," taxes and more. Fridays, Saturdays and other premium days add $100. A $150 weekday ceremony therefore comes to about $240 to $250, and a Saturday one to more than $350, before the license. The chapel itself holds 20 guests at most, for an extra $1002, and "all amounts paid are non-refundable."
Graceland Wedding Chapel prices every Elvis package "plus tax & fees" and then lists the fees in full3. Viva Las Vegas is $249 with two Elvis songs and no digital photos, plus a $60 officiant's fee and a $20 photographer's tip. From Loving You at $329 (three songs, four photos, a limousine) upward, a $40 chauffeur's tip is added too. Concert with The King is $699 and Famous Dueling Elvis $799. The chapel seats "roughly 25 to 30 guests."
Chapel of the Flowers on the Strip publishes more than two dozen packages, from Basic at $299 to Infinity and Beyond at $24,9004. The Basic package is for the couple: "an additional $5 will be charged per guest." Its ceremony-and-reception packages are the closest thing in town to a whole wedding in one price: Traditional at $1,999 for up to 10 guests, Regal at $4,899 for up to 20, and Forever at $15,900 for up to 50. Several carry an "additional weekend fee," amount not stated.
Read the fee lines before the headline. Of the three, only Graceland lists every fixed add-on next to the price. At the others, the officiant fee, the surcharge and the weekend premium are a paragraph further down.
Las Vegas Resort Wedding Packages on the Strip
The resorts sell the same short ceremony in a quieter room, with the tax and service charge sometimes built in and sometimes not.
Wynn Las Vegas offers an Intimate Elegance elopement at $1,200: half an hour in the Lilac Salon and its officiant, for couples "eloping with no guests," Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. only, for ceremonies through December 30, 20265. Photography is extra: $175 for 30 minutes or $275 for an hour. The Lilac Salon holds 60 guests, the Lavender Salon 120, and the outdoor Primrose Courtyard 100, at "an additional $2200 per hour" on top of a package6. At the other end, its Ballad package is $17,500 with a 120-person minimum, an hour in a ballroom, a $4,000 floral credit and two suite nights, and a ballroom rental fee still applies7.
The Venetian publishes packages from $1,950 (Timeless: a gondola for the two of you, or a garden spot for up to 10 standing guests) through Destiny from $3,250 (a chapel for up to 40) to Radiance from $8,400 (up to 100)8. Its policies page has the useful sentence: "Package prices include applicable sales tax and service charge." Its other rules cost money: the officiant fee is not included and is paid in cash on the day, a weekend premium applies to several packages, ceremonies after 1 p.m. Friday to Sunday cost extra, and anything booked within 14 days pays a $500 booking fee9.
We could not read the wedding pages of Bellagio or Caesars Palace this month, so we have no verified prices for either. Ask both whether the package price includes tax, the service charge and the officiant.
Las Vegas Wedding Packages With a Reception
Once there is dinner, Las Vegas prices like any other city: per guest, with a minimum and a service charge.
Red Rock Resort in Summerlin includes the ceremony site in its reception packages, which run $109 per person for a three-hour plated lunch that ends by 3 p.m. and $229 per person for a five-hour plated dinner10. "All prices listed are subject to 24% service charge and 8.375% state sales tax," so the $229 dinner is a little over $300 a guest. The Veranda Ballroom carries a dinner minimum of $15,000 before tax and service, or $5,000 for lunch. Every wedding must hire a planner or coordinator and buy event insurance, and each bar costs $250.
Springs Preserve, a botanical garden and museum campus minutes from the Strip, publishes complete venue packages: the Garden Terrace for up to 100 guests at $5,175, the Courtyard for up to 200 at $5,575, Thursday to Monday, with the ceremony at 4:30 and the reception until 9 p.m.11 A ceremony alone at its Gazebo or Garden Arbor is $1,565 or $1,775, on Thursdays and Sundays. It requires a licensed wedding coordinator and event insurance.
The Grove Las Vegas includes the officiant and the bar in its outdoor chapel Package A: $5,175 for up to 50 guests, then $100 per person up to 6012. Its Grand Garden Sunset packages show how much the day matters: $16,500 for up to 100 guests on a Saturday, $9,750 for up to 75 Monday to Thursday13.
How a wedding food and beverage minimum works
Desert Weddings: Red Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire Permits
The cheapest scenery near Las Vegas is public land, and the permit is the price.
Red Rock Canyon requires a Special Recreation Permit from the Bureau of Land Management for every wedding14. For a non-commercial group the fee is "the greater of $115 or $6/person"; once an officiant or photographer is paid, it becomes a commercial permit with a $345 minimum. Apply no more than 180 days and at least 30 days ahead. The sites have hard limits: 50 people at the Red Rock Overlook and the Red Spring platform, 12 at Ash Spring, 200 at the visitor-center amphitheater. Every car also pays the $20 entrance fee, and the Scenic Drive needs a timed-entry reservation from October 1 to May 31 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. One warning: the BLM's own page says its wedding permit allotments are "currently full," so ask before you plan around it15.
Valley of Fire, an hour northeast, charges $15 per out-of-state vehicle ($10 with Nevada plates)16. The park closes completely from December 1 to December 14 every year, and during the closure weddings are prohibited. Nevada State Parks lists a special-use fee of $400 for the park, but that page does not mention weddings, so confirm the fee with the park17.
If you would rather not file paperwork, the chapels sell the desert too. Chapel of the Flowers' Valley of Fire package is $2,399 with photos and a limousine, and its Red Rock Canyon package is $3,899 with a helicopter ride4.
The Neon Museum: The Only Boneyard Ceremony in Town
The NEON Museum marries couples among its vintage signs, with prices on its own page18. The daytime Sweetheart Wedding is $2,500 and the night-time Stardust Wedding $3,500, the latter a 60-minute private ceremony for up to 50 guests. Ten more guests cost $200, to a maximum of 90; golden hour adds $500. Bring your own officiant and photographer at no extra charge. There are two catches: it does not book Sweetheart weddings from June to August, and "if temperatures exceed 105°F, the ceremony will need to be canceled."
The Las Vegas Marriage License: $102, Open Until Midnight
The legal part is the easiest in the country. The Clark County Marriage License Bureau on Clark Avenue is open "7 days per week, 8 a.m. to midnight," holidays included19. The license is $102, a certified copy $20, and a civil ceremony at the county's Office of Civil Marriages $75, by card only20, with room for a witness and up to eight guests21. There is no waiting period, and the license is good for a year22.
Las Vegas is still the country's wedding capital, if a slightly smaller one. Clark County issued 70,598 marriage licenses in 2025, down from 76,779 in 2024, and projects about 62,000 for 202623.

How to Price a Las Vegas Wedding Package Yourself
1. Add the officiant first. It is $60 at Little White and Graceland, paid in cash at The Venetian, included at The Grove and Wynn, and yours to bring at the Neon Museum. Two packages at the same price can differ by this alone.
2. Ask for the surcharge as a percentage. Little White adds 19%, Red Rock Resort 24% plus 8.375% tax, while The Venetian's prices already include both. Put every quote on the same footing before you compare.
3. Price your actual date. Fridays, Saturdays and holidays cost $100 more at Little White, weekends cost more at Chapel of the Flowers and The Venetian, and a Saturday at The Grove is $6,750 more than a weekday. Wynn's $1,200 elopement does not exist on a weekend.
4. Count the guests the package allows. Ten at Little White, 25 to 30 at Graceland, none at Wynn's elopement, 50 at the Neon Museum. Every guest beyond that is a fee, or a different package.
5. Budget the tips the package names. Graceland lists a $20 photographer's tip and a $40 chauffeur's tip; Little White asks $40 to $50 for a limousine driver. Count them as part of the price.
6. Book the permit, or buy it. A DIY Red Rock Canyon wedding is $115 plus $20 a car, filed 30 to 180 days out, if permits are available. A chapel's desert package costs more and handles the paperwork.
When a Las Vegas Package Is Not the Bargain It Looks
Las Vegas is cheap for the ceremony and ordinary for everything else. Once you want 100 guests, dinner and a bar, you are paying per-person resort pricing with a service charge, a food minimum and a required planner, as you would in most cities. The heat matters too: the Neon Museum stops at 105°F and skips summer for daytime weddings, and the desert sites are best from October to May. For a big wedding, the savings are in the license and the venue choice, not in the package.
If Las Vegas Is Not the Right Fit
The same questions work anywhere: who marries you and for how much, what percentage is added, what your date costs and how many guests the price covers. If you want the late night and the easy license but a different setting, the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe follows the same state law.

From $150 for a chapel or drive-thru ceremony to $17,500 or more for a resort ballroom. Chapel packages usually run $150 to $800 before fees, resort chapel packages $1,200 to $8,400, and a wedding with a reception for 50 to 100 guests starts at about $5,175. Add the $102 marriage license.
What is the cheapest way to get married in Las Vegas?
The county's own civil ceremony: $75 at the Clark County Office of Civil Marriages, by appointment, plus the $102 license, with a witness and up to eight guests. The cheapest chapel ceremony we found is $150 at The Little White Wedding Chapel, plus a $60 officiant fee and a 19% surcharge.
How much does a Vegas chapel wedding cost with all fees?
About $250 to $400 for a weekday ceremony. At The Little White Wedding Chapel a $150 ceremony comes to roughly $240 to $250 with the $60 officiant fee and 19% surcharge, and $100 more on a Friday or Saturday. At Graceland, the $249 Elvis package is $329 with the officiant fee and photographer's tip, before tax.
How much is a marriage license in Las Vegas?
$102 at the Clark County Marriage License Bureau, which is open every day from 8 a.m. to midnight, including holidays. A certified copy of the certificate is $20. There is no waiting period, and the license is valid for a year.
Can you get married in Las Vegas with just the two of you?
Yes. Wynn Las Vegas sells a $1,200 elopement for couples with no guests, weekdays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and The Venetian's Timeless package starts at $1,950 with a gondola for two. Chapels such as The Little White Wedding Chapel provide a witness for you.

Often not. The Little White Wedding Chapel and Graceland add a $60 officiant fee, and The Venetian's officiant is paid in cash on the day. Wynn's elopement and The Grove's outdoor chapel package include one, and the Neon Museum lets you bring your own at no charge.
Do you need a permit to get married at Red Rock Canyon?
Yes. The Bureau of Land Management requires a Special Recreation Permit for every wedding at Red Rock Canyon: the greater of $115 or $6 per person, or a $345 minimum if the officiant or photographer is paid. Apply 30 to 180 days ahead, and check availability first, because the BLM lists its wedding permits as currently full.
What is the best time of year for a Las Vegas wedding?
October to May for anything outdoors. The Neon Museum does not book daytime weddings from June to August and cancels above 105°F, Red Rock Canyon's timed-entry season runs October 1 to May 31, and Valley of Fire closes completely from December 1 to 14.
